The License Number is a unique code for identifying each UNIX
product. This number is sometimes referred to as a serial number.

System ID
The System ID is a unique ID used to identify your OpenServer
or UnixWare installation. It is generated at intial system installation,
and at any subsequent low-level disk reformat. The System ID
is displayed when you run the License Manager.

Licensing Policy Manager
The policy manager daemon is a background process that monitors
licensing on the system.

Registration Key
The Registration Key is generated by the Registration Center
when you register your product. You will receive one key for
each product (identified by the License Number) that you register.
Until you register your product, warning messages will be displayed
reminding you to register. Because the Registration Key is tied
to your System ID, your must re-register your products if you
run a low-level disk reformat.

Proof of Purchase
Valid proof of purchase is either the Sales Invoice
that you received when you purchased your product or your Registration
Confirmation that was emailed or faxed to you after you
registered your product. These documents include the name of
the product(s) in question and the name of the company to which
the products were sold/registered. It is important that you
retain a copy of your sales invoice for your records. If, at
some point, you need to replace a lost license, you will be
required to provide one of these documents as proof of purchase.
