Lost License Replacement Information

 


What do I do if I have lost my product license information?
  1. If you have licensed software, but have lost the license information for a license, you may request a replacement by clicking on the license replacement request link below.

    Prior to submitting your request, please be prepared to provide the following:
    * In order to process any license replacement request, we require valid proof of purchase.

    Once we receive your request, we will contact you by email, fax, or phone within approximately 1 business day to confirm your information and process your request.

    If you are unable to locate your license number, please contact your product supplier. Click here to find a SCO Authorized Reseller in your area.

  2. If you have lost your license for a retired product, please contact your product supplier to upgrade.

How do I find my license number?

Your license number can be found in the License Manager on your system or on the registration confirmation that Registration Center emailed or faxed to you when you registered your product. In some cases, your product supplier may have listed your license number on your sales invoice.

What constitutes valid proof of purchase?

Valid proof of purchase is either your your sales invoice or your registration confirmation that the Registration Center emailed or faxed to you when you registered your product. In order to process any request for a replacement license, we require valid proof of purchase. If you continue to experience difficulties, submit your information using the Contact SCO link HERE or at the bottom of the page. Then, make sure to select "Lost/Replacement Licenses " under "Choose Category".
