SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.7 provides three development environments in the Media Kit:

• SCO OpenServer Development System, located on the SCO OpenServer base CD-ROM, is only intended for the continued development of legacy applications, COFF binaries, and SCO OpenServer native device drivers. For new development, one of the other development systems should be used.
• GNU Development Tools, located on the SCO OpenServer base CD-ROM, is intended for the development of new applications, including Open Source-based code. This kit includes the GNU compilers, debugger, object tools, and other Open Source tools. These tools are license-free.
• UnixWare and OpenServer Development Kit (UODK), located on the UnixWare and OpenServer Development Kit CD-ROM, presents a cross-development environment for both SCO OpenServer and UnixWare.
