335 - UnixWare 7 Network Administration

The core of todays networking lies in the standardization of protocols. TCP/IP is the protocol suite of choice in todays market. This course covers the fundamentals of TCP/IP which will allow you to set up your server on a network. In the UNIX server and workstation market, NFS is the most common method of file sharing. This course also teaches you how to share your files with other servers or workstations using NFS and VisionFS.

This course is designed for technically oriented individuals who need to establish and maintain network connectivity of their UnixWare 7 operating system with other networks, including the Internet. The target audience includes support technicians, developers, engineers, system administrators, and other technical users who require in-depth knowledge on the installation, configuration, and administration of a UNIX network.

Gain a thorough understanding of the UNIX System client/server model of network computing. Learn how to administer a TCP/IP local-area network (LAN) and troubleshoot network problems.
