Development Kit 1.1.3w
The JavaTM Development Kit (JDKTM)
is a powerful development environment that is portable, object-oriented,
platform independent, and especially well suited for developing
Internet-enabled applications. The JDK includes the Java compiler,
interpreter, classes, and documentation and is licensed to all UnixWare
7 licensees.
JDK 1.1.3w is a full update release to the earlier JDK 1.1.3u
for SCO Operating Systems and includes support for native threads.
It also includes a number of fixes, especially regarding compilation
using the Swing classes.
JDK 1.1.3w is only supported for UnixWare 7 Release 7.0.1 systems.
- Download of JDK 1.1.3w is currently not available.
Note that the currently available version of the UnixWare and OpenServer
Development Kit CD-ROM contains the more recent JDK 1.1.7A, rather
than the JDK 1.1.3w web update.
