UnixWare Hardware Developer Documentation
The HDKdoc package includes
the HDK documentation other than manual pages
that discuss how to develop device drivers for UnixWare 7 and
OpenServer 5.
To view the documentation, install it on a UnixWare 7 system,
then bring up the
scohelp(X1)
browser.
This documentation set includes a number of enhancements to the
UnixWare 7 Release 7.0.0 and HDK documentation set. Major
additions include:
- Documentation about the UnixWare 7 PC Card interface
- Documentation about the UnixWare 7 Hot Plug Controller
interface
- Full commentary for a sample UnixWare 7 DDI 8 driver
- Enhanced introductory and general information for both
UnixWare 7 and OpenServer driver development.
For information about the entire UnixWare/OpenServer Hardware
Development Kit (HDK) release, see the
HDK Release Notes.

when this package is installed. This has no impact and can be ignored.
-
This package cannot be installed on OpenServer

and can access the non-manpage documentation either from
the SCO Web Page or the flatfile on the CD; see "For more
information" below.
-
This documentation set can be accessed through lynx
or other character browsers,
although the presentation format is not ideal.
