OpenServer Hardware Compatibility Program and Load Test Suite
The O5hcptest package provides the
hcptest(1Mcert)
test, an interactive shell script that executes hardware
qualification test suites.
Version 7.1.0 of this package differs from previous versions in
the following ways:

The current version of this package is now installed with
pkgadd(ADM).

System requirements
This package has no dependencies.
It can be installed on UnixWare 7 systems for reference
although the test suites themselves should be run
only on OpenServer systems. The loadtests package
provides similar tests for UnixWare 7 systems.
Installation
To install the package from:
downloaded files
- Log in as root.
- Download the package to an installation directory; for example,
/tmp.
- Use the
pkgadd(ADM)
command to install it by entering:
- pkgadd -d /tmp/O5hcptest
media distribution
- Log in as root.
- Mount the CD-ROM by typing:
- mount -r /dev/cd0 /cdrom
- Use the
pkgadd(ADM)
command to install it by entering:
- pkgadd -d /cdrom/O5hcptest
